New Patients
On behalf of Rock Island Dental Associates, Dr. Meredith and Dr. McIntyre welcome you to our office. We strive for a higher standard of patient care including exceptional customer service, hospitality and philanthropy.
New patient appointments in our office are typically 2 hours in length. You will be welcomed into our office by our front desk staff and they will assist you in completing any necessary paperwork. Our office staff will give you a tour of new, state of art facility including our patient treatment rooms and our sterilization area.
Your appointment with begin with one of our talented hygienists reviewing your medical and dental history with you. Images (x-rays) will be acquired based on your dental needs. We will discuss your chief complaint and any fears or apprehensions you have about dentistry. Together we will work together to make your appointment a pleasant (and maybe even fun) experience. Our team will perform a full periodontal screening and assessment prior to beginning any treatment. Our team members also take photographs of your teeth and digital scans of your mouth to better evaluate and educate our patients.
After your cleaning, Dr. McIntyre or Dr. Meredith with perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums. All patients are screened for oral cancer as well. We will review our findings and concerns with you and work together for formulate a treatment plan.
